GSB Introduction
Gordon School of Business
The Gordon School of Business and Artificial Intelligence (GSB) is an academic unit sponsored by the Gordon family and developed as a strategic extension of SIAI’s long-standing work in advanced AI education. GSB was spun out of SIAI’s higher-education programs in artificial intelligence, which focus on mathematically and statistically grounded training at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, including rigorous coursework in probability, optimization, and data science. While SIAI’s core mission centers on technical AI formation, GSB addresses a complementary problem: how AI is evaluated, governed, and deployed within real business and institutional environments. Building on SIAI’s analytical foundations, GSB translates technical understanding into frameworks of judgment, decision-making, and organizational responsibility. The school is designed not as a conventional business school, but as an institutional platform for integrating AI, capital, and governance, while maintaining academic rigor and independence through its family sponsorship structure.

Swiss Institute of Artificial Intelligence
The Swiss Institute of Artificial Intelligence (SIAI) is an independent higher-education institution focused on mathematically and statistically grounded AI education. Founded to address the gap between popularized AI training and rigorous scientific formation, SIAI emphasizes probability, statistics, optimization, and data science as the foundations of modern artificial intelligence. Its programs are designed at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and prioritize analytical discipline, formal reasoning, and academic standards comparable to leading European universities.
SIAI’s mission is not rapid credential production, but the cultivation of durable technical competence and intellectual rigor in AI. The institute operates with a long-term academic orientation, deliberately limiting scale to preserve educational quality, and serves as the technical and pedagogical foundation from which its affiliated institutions have evolved.
Gordon Institute
The Gordon Institute of Artificial Intelligence (GIAI) is the operating and institutional umbrella for the Gordon family’s AI-focused academic and research initiatives. Functioning as the formal business and governance entity, GIAI oversees research activities, institutional partnerships, and applied initiatives that extend beyond degree-granting education. While SIAI concentrates on higher education, GIAI provides the structural, legal, and strategic framework that enables international operations, research publication, and institutional continuity.
GIAI supports affiliated schools and programs by maintaining academic independence, financial transparency, and long-term governance. Through this structure, the Gordon Institute separates educational rigor from operational scalability, allowing each affiliated entity to pursue its mission without compromising institutional standards or academic integrity.

Mathematical Data Science Association
The Mathematical Data Science Association (MDSA) is an independent academic oversight and review body affiliated with the GIAI ecosystem. Originally established to ensure methodological rigor and academic accountability in data science education at SIAI, MDSA now functions as a supervisory and evaluative institution across research, education, and ranking activities. Its role is not instructional, but judgment-oriented: reviewing academic standards, assessing methodological soundness, and validating evaluation frameworks used within affiliated programs.
MDSA operates with structural independence to preserve credibility and prevent conflicts of interest, drawing on academics and researchers with strong quantitative backgrounds. By separating oversight from delivery, MDSA reinforces the institutional integrity of the broader ecosystem and ensures that academic claims remain grounded in formal mathematical and statistical reasoning.
